appearance: Kallin's appearance reflects his position as alpha male over his pack. He has very little hair on his head; which he contributes to being the alpha male and decision maker over his people. A stubbly, graying beard also seems to be a trend of his as well. Heavy frown lines and a wrinkled forehead also reflect his age.
Though most of his facial features would be considered typical of a man his age there are three things that set him apart from human beings. The first being his very bold, and rather distracting jaw and chin line. These features are not average shaped and most species of werewolf decent declare this to be because of his human form adopting pieces of his wold form. Thus you have his ears as well. Human's often refer to the old Mr. Whitman as the giant elf because his ears are a bit more pointier than the average human's. Again this is speculated to be because of his human age adopting to his wolf form. Thirdly, Kallin has multiple very noticeable scars on his face. Some small, and some rather large and long. He contributes this to fighting with the cold ones, and for his position as alpha male over the years.
As far as the other physical features he exhibits, they are quite natural. He is of average height and build; though slightly more muscular than people way younger than him. So he doesn't hover over people he just stands equal with most, ( 6'0 height) and he certainly doesn't stand at eye contact level with most as it draws attention to his scars.
Kallin's shoulders are rather broad to reflect his above average muscle mass, and his stature reflects this. In most cases Kallin walks upright, shoulders back, and his chest poked out. He does not believe in bad posture and his general appearance reflects that belief. His skin tone; though paler than most of his ancestors, reflects his Native American decent and heritage.
In conclusion, besides a few minor set backs Kallin is considered to be your average elderly gentleman. His appearance is nowhere near supernatural, or even good looking for that matter. In fact some consider his appearance to be rather grotesque due to his scars and his unnatural forms. So Kallin is by far from the pretties.... but normal to the standards of men.

goals: Kallin's goal is to see his pack reign supreme through peaceful approaches rather than war.
fears: Kallin does not fear death; he has lived a fruitful life. But he does fear war with the vampires and the death of his pack and legacy.
personality: Outsiders would see Kallin as a peaceful man.... and some have even called him the peacemaker. But those who know him best ( his pack members) know him otherwise. Kallin is simply an alpha male biding his time. His hopes are set high on ruling not just the werewolves of North America, but destroying the vampire reign permanently. His pack defines him as being politically intelligent, and that definition shows in his dealing with other packs and even the vampires.
Though his cleverness may not be seen by most of those who view him from afar, those inside of his pack, and certainly those who cross Kallin know him for his ruthless aggression. Confront the dark sides of yourselves! Awaken it.... live it! Show those who cross you that their demons are nothing compared to you! You are their demons!" This is a quote well known within his pack. A commission to those inside of his pack to do so when needed. Kallin's theory is peace by ways of appearance only..... " War is inevitable my children. We are but a mixture of humans and animals, and both war.... so when the time comes we shall be known by our fruits of war!" So his desires are to war with anyone who challenges his way of life.
As such he rules his pack with a warriors mentality; ruthless aggression. Though he values life in general he also sees war as a natural part of life. Both for humans and animals. Kallin is particularly known for destroying any opposition within his own pack. This meaning anyone with no sense of loyalty to one's pack is immediately outlawed. But only one has been known to suffer this consequence.
Ultimately Kallin is a very ruthless and aggressive ruler with little tolerance for those without the warrior mentality. He is politically savy and leads his pack as a politician rules one's country.

history: Most of Kallin's history is unknown. But what is known is rather impressive. As a child and a pup he was on his own. His people viewed his wolf form to be a curse rather than a blessing. At one point and time it was considered a blessing and thus his conception. But shortly before his turning his tribe turned on his parents, killing them by surprise. At first the tribe elders raised him; allowing him very little contact with other tribe members. Whenever he would go somewhere he was to be followed by senior warriors and tribe members.
One evening on a full moon; shortly after he turned 14 he began his first transformation. Immediately the tribal leaders tried to kill the young pup during the transformation but he was just too strong. The transformation took hours and Killin managed to kill anyone that neared him; even those with guns. After breaking loose from his prison he proceeded to kill all the villagers. Fortunately his tribe was large and very spread out and his presence was kept a secrete from the villagers for the most part so shortly after his transformation back to human none came after him. But he was sure they would know who was responsible, so he decided to run.... run away as far as he could.
Days turned into weeks, weeks to months, and months to years. Each transformation became less and less painful for Killian. However he soon learned of the existance of vampires and other wolves like him. Quickly he allied himself with the Louve pack, and even more quickly he became the pack leaders favorite for unknown reasons. Perhaps it was for the hatred of human and vampire life at that moment and time, or perhaps it was because he was stronger than most.... to this day Kallin doesn't know. But he grew fast in rank and soon he became the Beta male and married.
He retained his title and position for a very long time, longer than most in fact. But soon that all changed. A war broke out between the vampires and the werewolves. A war that took dominance away from his kind. Most of his pack was killed; including his leader and the only father he had ever known. Few remained, and those who did chose to run off on him because of his desire to fight. His wife, and beta female remained with him, though shortly after she dies due to a vampire attack, however he remained strong.
As the years grew on Kallin became known for his resilience and more and more wolves were leaving their packs to join him due to his temperament. Many fight took place, especially with the vampires, and even more pack members died. But each time he rebuilt his army, and each time he's developed a new tactic. Though now his age reflects his knowledge his expectations have not changed and he remains in tact to lead a rebellion against the vampires. He just now bides his time and waits for the right moment.
