There is nothing alarming or outstanding about Daniel’s appearance, though it is also nothing to sneer at. Medium length brown hair frames a pair of average, but extremely honest brown eyes that convey a warm sense of happiness when he is around people he enjoys or loves. He never allows his facial hair to grow to more than stubble, as he detests how he really looks with a beard or anything else.
Usually, he dresses casually, but not sloppily. He has a thing for hats, wearing them with many of his different outfits. His most favorite set of clothes included a tattered pair of cutoff jeans, an old UNY sweatshirt, and a battered Mets ball cap. Though these may make him appear tatty, they are extremely comforting to him.
Daniel never allowed his body to be tattooed or pierced in anyway, but he has a small birthmark on his ankle. In addition to this detail, when he was younger, he had set up a rope swing at the pond in Connery Park, but misjudged the jump and ended up getting a scar on his left thigh.

His biggest wish is peace within the packs, but knows that it would come at a price. He also wants to be with Cecile forever, not quick visits behind the Packs’ backs.

personality:
Daniel had to be one of the most fun loving betas around. He fought the usual hard-ass attitude that came with the position and instead just usually goes with the flow. Extremely loyal and protective of those that he cares about, he would do anything for his love. Too bad he just didn’t have one yet.
The one thing that makes Daniel bitter is his inability to be with Cecile because of the packs. That really puts a damper on his usually ebullient spirits, especially when he has to listen to people take him down a notch about ‘accidently’ mating with her. He usually tried to shrug these feelings off, but it was hard considering she is his other half.
There is a considerable change in Daniel’s behaviour when he is outside as opposed to being stuck in a small confined space. It is as if a switch is turned on within him once he steps outdoors. He becomes a much more active and happy person, as opposed to being inside, where he is a much more controlled person.

Daniel Montgomery grew up around Doodletown, but when he was younger, Shamus Burg seemed to take a shine to the young werewolf and took him under his wing, so to speak. He had a usual childhood, using all of Doodletown and especially Connery Park as his playground, not really ever caring what species he was interacting with- human or werewolf. It was obvious to him as he grew that he had become part of Pack Lykos.
Daniel always had an awareness of what was going on around him, like the tensions between the packs and the hostilities between vampires and werewolves, but until he became Pack Lykos’ beta, he chose to ignore the issues and live happily as if peace was existent. Since his development as a beta, he had made it extremely clear that he wishes that there would be peace between the packs, his argument centering on the necessity for unity against the vampires.
Over the last few years, Alpha Burg decided it was time for Daniel to finally become engaged to his daughter Alice. Daniel instantly rejected the idea in his mind, for he never really saw himself with Alice in any other way than a tolerated packmate. He hates the binding qualities of the forced engagement and the idea of the arranged marriage repulsed his being. It was not as if he had some other love as of the present, but being restricted and the lack of choice and spontaneity left him angry.
Daniel, on one of his usual runs, met the other Pack’s Alpha Female- daughter to their Alpha Male. The two struck up a quick friendship, that quickly escalated into something more. The two consummated their love one evening, permanently tying themselves together forever. For several months they met behind their Packs’ backs. However it seemed they forgot about protection and Cecile fell pregnant with his Pup. Her father found out and therefore both backs found out. The two packs declared war and Daniel has been torn up ever since. Currently, Daniel is living in a small one bedroom house near the Burg’s residence in Doodletown.
